Gideons International SA is hosting a high tea for Boksburg’s Friends of the Gideons.
At the event, Christo van der Schyff will lead the conversation on how to reach lost souls worldwide through the Gideon ministry.
All funds raised will go towards the purchasing and distribution of 4 500 Bibles to 189 countries that cannot satisfy their own need for Bibles.
South Africa, along with 10 other self-supporting countries, donate money through the Faith Fund to provide Bibles for these countries.
The Gideons Boksburg are hoping for an amount of R70 000 to be raised through the event.
The high tea takes place on February 18 at 2.30pm for 3pm at Summer Place, corner of Elizabeth & Leith roads, Bartlett.
Tickets are R200 person or R2 000 per table and the dress code is semi-formal.
