Gift wrapping brings in R30 000 for New Beginnings

All proceeds will benefit the shelter

Representatives of New Beginnings Care Centre wrapped Christmas gifts for customers at Checkers Hyper over the festive season and raised more than R30 000.

From December 11 to December 25, customers had their gifts wrapped in gift wrap donated by Checkers Hyper Boksburg, in exchange for a small donation.

All proceeds raised went to New Beginnings.

The care centre, situated in Commissioner Street, is a registered non-profit organisation that addresses the needs of the disadvantaged in and around Boksburg.
