Local behind bars on charges of fraud and theft

Gosling first appeared in court on August 28.

The theft charge relates to the theft of clothing and a watch to the value of about R100 000 and the fraud charge is also related to an amount of about R100 000.

The case was postponed to January 15.

Magistrate Hans Havenga presided and Taschnee Ramschuran represented the state.
