SAPS spokesperson Constable Nkemeleng Mabula said they received a shoplifting complaint from the store at about 3.10pm.
“When the police officers got to the store the security told them he had searched the man at the exit and found the bacon hidden in the waistband of his pants.”
The man could not produce a till slip.
He will appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
