Man dies after being hit by car on N12

When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 2:55pm, the man was found lying next to his vehicle. Unfortunately, the man had succumbed to his multiple injuries and was declared dead on the scene.

It is believed that the man got out of his vehicle after it broke down on the N12 before he was knocked over by another vehicle.

“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known to our paramedics but the police and local authorities were on scene for further investigations,” said Ineke van Huyssteen, ER24 spokesperson.
