Fund-raiser for charity to lend a help to Van Dyk Park’s needy

Betlehem Helping Hand, a Van Dyk Park non-profit organisation, will be hosting a fund-raiser for charity on October 28.

The organisation already feeds about 150 needy people in Van Dyk Park and said the fund-raiser will enable them to provide these people with clothing too.

The fund-raising event will take place at the Van Dyk Park Shopping Centre, on the corner of Geelhout and Olive streets, from 9am to 6pm.

Live entertainment will be provided by Maritza and Chrissie, Danie van der Westhuizen, Hackey Louw, Linda Oosthuizen, Denise Lourens, Johan Britz, Andries Blignaut, Saskia Boshoff and JP Country Boy. The K9 unit will also be at the event.

Attendees are urged to bring along non-perishable food. Cash donations are welcome.
