Power restored in Ravensklip

Engineers have managed to restore power in Ravensklip from nearby supplying networks.

This is according to metro spokesperson, Themba Gadebe, who said engineers  worked tirelessly overnight to replace damaged electrical equipment at Yaldwyn Substation in Boksburg.

The replacement work comes after a fire broke out on Monday, October 9 resulting in power supply interruption in Boksburg and Jet Park.

“While large parts of the affected areas have been connected, Jet Park is yet to receive power supply,” said Gadebe.

“The replacement work continues to ensure that power supply is fully restored to all affected customers by weekend.”
