According to Minnie, when contractors arrived at the property for the first time on September 13, they pitched with no gumboots and, therefore, “could not resolve the problem”.
The cause of the sewage spillage is unknown; however, Minnie believes the problem definitely is in Nieshout Avenue, next to the N12 highway.
She added that a week before, houses higher up in the street suffered the same problem.
The sewage chemicals have damaged Minnie’s lawn and she is waiting for it to be treated.
