It was a joyful day for Ibrahim Bahelia, from Villa Liza, who couldn’t contain his excitement at having his motorbike back.
Bahelia said the bike was stolen from his home two weeks earlier but he failed to report it because he did not have the registration number.

Constable Nkemeleng Mabula confirmed that Bahelia provided police with supporting documentation which confirmed he was the rightful owner.
The Dawn Park SAPS recovered the motorbike after it was found by a community member in the open veld in Berloos Street, Dawn Park, on August 22.
