According to the Boksburg North SAPS communications officer, Capt Juanita Coetzer, the suspects were armed with a firearm and a knife.
“The couple and domestic worker were tied up after being held at gunpoint,” said Coetzer.
“The suspects demanded money and wanted to know where the safe was.”
A cellphone, a purse containing bank cards, jewellery and a vehicle, a silver Toyota Tazz, were stolen.
A case of house robbery is under investigation.
