AGS Witfield continues to be a light among the less fortunate

Members of the AGS Witfield Lighuis Church have done it again by extending a helping hand to the needy people residing in Sky Street.

Residents of Sky Street woke up to a healthy breakfast of soup and bread, on July 11.

To keep the residents warm, 85 handmade scarfs were distributed to the residents.

According to Pastor Derick van Zyl, they returned to Sky Street because they have seen a need to help the less fortunate.

“We normally confine these efforts to Witfield where we conduct a soup kitchen during the second week of every month. This year we brought along scarfs to keep the little children warm during winter,” van Zyl said.
