Domestic worker’s cellphone leads to her arrest

The Boksburg North police recently arrested a domestic worker for her alleged role in a house robbery in Bardene.

The robbery occurred in October last year and after the incident, the domestic worker told the police that her cell phone was also stolen during the robbery.

An intensive eight-month investigation revealed, among other things, that the domestic worker was still using the cell phone she alleged was taken during the robbery and this was part of the reason she was arrested.

She is expected to appear in court on charges of theft and conspiracy to commit robbery.
