Seminar to connect business and missionary work

Business as Mission (BAM) is a global Christian movement that aims to help business people ‘connect the dots’ between the world of business and the world of mission.

In May, INcontext International will be hosting two international speakers during a seminar. They will be sharing their first-hand experiences of embracing ‘business as mission’.

According to Andrew Richards from INcontext International, for most believers, the two worlds seem to be separate.

“BAM is all about recognising the mission field within the business world, and the unique opportunities that God has created for sharing the Gospel and growing the Kingdom,” said Richards.

“The two speakers come from different backgrounds and contexts but are both Christian leaders in their fields and have a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion for the possibilities within the business world.

“All business people, owners and employees are invited to the seminar to hear more about the God-given potential that business has for good in the world, and to be mobilised for action.”

The seminar will be held on Monday, May 8, at the Afrique Boutique Hotel in Boksburg, from 8am to 4pm.

There is a registration free. One needs to register before April 28.
