Teatro Arti to be hosted at Live Arts Little Theatre
Teatro Arti is the National Arts Association’s largest eisteddfod, with an aimed participation of more than 2 500 entries for 2017.

The Teatro Arti Eisteddfod is the perfect opportunity for aspiring actors, artists, singers, writers and models to showcase their talents, develop their skills and gain the confidence needed for day-to-day living.
More than 40 schools and 20 private institutions participate in this competition annually, focusing on praising each learner’s talents.
The aim is to inspire children to let their voices be heard.
The National Arts Association will be hosting the 2017 Teatro Arti Eisteddfod from May 1 to 8 at Live Arts Little Theatre in Boksburg.
They, along with the National Arts Association, strive to cultivate a love for the arts through the learners who participate each year.
Various testimonies from learners who participated in previous years prove this.
Entries for the eisteddfod are available on the National Arts Association’s website: www.nationalarts.co.za or can be received via email to info@nationalarts.
Closing date for entries is April 10.
“Teatro Arti is an eisteddfod for all students aged five to 18 years of age and strives to promote the development of the arts among youth,” said Louw Breytenbach, co-organiser of the festival.
“Here, you do not need to be a professional actor, artist, vocalist or model, Everyone is welcome.
“It is about exploring your God-given talents, learning to perform in a theatre and reaping the rewards of your hard work in building confidence.”
