“They responded quickly and were very professional,” said the complainant.
“I am very thankful for their assistance and support.”
According to the Boksburg North SAPS communications officer Capt Juanita Coetzer, the complainant’s son was woken up by the noise of glass breaking.
“He went to investigate and found an unknown male standing with his television set in his hands,” said Coetzer.
“He shouted at him. The suspect dropped the television set and fled through the broken window.”
Fortunately no one was injured.
A case of housebreaking is under investigation.
