Motsamai gets parole after 27 years
Pan Africanist Congress' (PAC) Kenny Motsamai was given full parole after spending 27 years in jail.
Motsamai was released from the Boksburg prison after the parole board granted him full parole on Wednesday, January 11.
He was arrested and imprisoned for killing a white traffic officer in Rustenburg during what the Azanian People’s Liberation Army called a sanctioned bank robbery.
The Pan Africanist Congress member was then handed two life sentences.
Motsamai has been on day parole for the past seven months.
