WITFIELD, MORGANRIDGE, RAVENSKLIP: Power to be restored within six hours
Power in Ravensklip, Witfield and Morganridge is expected to be restored within the next six hours.
According to Ward 22 councillor, Ruhan Robinson, there’s a double-cable fault at Substation seven which feeds these areas.
Electrical engineers are currently on site working on the problem.
Robinson added that another cable fault was found at Substation 62 which feeds areas around Delmore.
Engineers are currently on site and power in this area will possibly be back on by noon.
Power in areas such as Dyanglen, Ravenswood, Comet, Boksburg North and Boksburg West has already been restored.
