Our journalist at the scene said it is alleged that the officer was being flagged to stop by an Anti-Hijack Unit when the incident occurred.
Apparently, the officer refused to stop and members of the Anti Hijack Unit fired shots at his car’s wheels to force it to a halt.
The officer allegedly pulled out his gun and shot himself dead before members of the Anti-Hijack Unit could reach his car.
