Ekurhuleni to host Arts, Culture and Heritage Summit

In a bid to stimulate and revitalise the creative arts industry in Ekurhuleni, the City is hosting the ‘Let’s Talk Arts’ Summit.

The summit aims to create a platform to educate and empower artists about the municipality, legislature processes and systems of development in the city.

The summit will take place at the Germiston City Hall, on November 19, starting at 8am.

The summit will address issues of development, social cohesion, economic development, and direct and indirect financial benefits.

It will look into different categories in creative arts such as:

• Archaeological and Historical Places

• Cultural Landscapes

• Natural Heritage

Performances and Celebrations

• Festivals and Events
