Show you care, donate a bear

LifeLine Ekurhuleni needs your support to help bring some hope and joy to those in need over the festive season.

Show that you care by buying a badge and donating a bear.

And who doesn’t love teddy bears?

The goal is to collect more than 10 000 bears that will be donated to a charity or home in time for Christmas.

How can you get involved?

Step one: Donate as many teddy bears as you can.

Step two: Buy a care badge from LifeLine Ekurhuleni for each bear (R10 per badge).

Step three: Pin the badge onto your bear.

Step four: Identify a home to deliver the bears to and show that you care.

Step five: Post your act of caring, onto the LifeLine Ekurhuleni Facebook page.

You can also drop off the bears at the LifeLine Ekurhuleni premises which are at 3 Russel Street, Benoni (next to the Benoni West Primary School); or at Graper Pub and Restaurant, corner Russel Street and Victoria Avenue, Benoni.

LifeLine Ekurhuleni is appealing to corporates, schools, groups and anyone who cares, to help them with this initiative.

By purchasing a care badge and pinning it to your donated bear, you’ll be supporting LifeLine Ekurhuleni and the work the organisation is doing in the greater Ekurhuleni community – ie. creating awareness of the 24/7/365 crisis help line numbers, as well as bringing joy to anyone in need.

Every little good deed goes a very long way.
