The Advertiser understands Edgar Road connecting to Trichards Road is flooded due to the dam overflowing.

Then there is even greater problems on the N3 where the freeway southbound by Gillolys is closed due to the bridge being flooded (by the R24 offramp). Multitude of cars are stuck at the bridge.

The off-ramp at Linksfield on the N3 is reportedly flooded.

It is also understood flooding is occurring in Jet Park, on the R21 and at the airport.

There is massive chaos on the roads. Many bridges are flooded also in Boksburg.

There are already talks that blocked storm-water drains is to be blamed.
