A call to join the CPF patrollers

Community members are invited to join the CPF Sector One patrollers, following the simultaneous resignation of Atlasville-based patrollers.

According to the Ekurhuleni Central CPF Cluster chairperson Herman Heunis, the former patrollers previously filed a formal grievance against the Boksburg North CPF chairperson, whom they also accused of misconduct.

“The Ekurhuleni Central CPF Cluster and the SAPS conducted an investigation into the matter brought by the members, and the accused was later cleared of all the allegations,” said Heunis in a statement.

It was found that the allegations levelled against the chairperson were based on personality clashes and had nothing to do with values, work and operation of the CPF.

The members were apparently unhappy with the outcome of the investigation and decided to resign.

However, the CPF executive stated that the former patrollers are also welcome to rejoin the forum.
