Eastern schools get together for a game of indoor hockey

A game of indoor hockey brought a number of primary schools and high school hockey players to one venue, to learn new skills of the sport.

The indoor hockey tournament was held at St Dominic’s recently, and saw primary schools such as Farrarmere, Martin School, Van Riebeeck Park, Baanbreker and St Dunstan’s taking part.

High schools that also took part were Dr EG Jansen, St Dominic’s, Boksburg High, Woodlands College, Hoërskool Kempton Park, Volkskool Heidelberg, Oosterlig Skool and St Benedict’s.

Most of the players will take part in the Pro Series (PSI) National Indoor Tournament, in December.
