Metro clarifies aspects of water restrictions

On September 13, Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) spokesperson Themba Gadebe said people may irrigate, fill swimming pools and use hosepipes between 6pm and 6am, but not from 6am to 6pm.

Gadebe has now said people may not do the following, regardless of the time of day:

•Fill swimming pools

•Use hosepipes

•Irrigate
