Boksburg North SAPS visits Huis Dien Bothma

Officers from the EMPD and SAPS visited the elderly, who could not go outside, in their rooms.

“It was absolutely awesome to see how much a handshake or a hug meant to these elderly people,” said Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Capt Juanita Coetzer.

The residents were given a few tips to prevent their possessions from being stolen and were advised to not walk alone in shopping centres.

Boksburg North CPF also contributed to this wonderful day.

“Big men and women left crying after seeing these people so happy by our visit,” said Coetzer.

To make the day even more special the EMPD also put on a dog show.
