The CPF is a forum made up of member of the community, as well as police representatives.
As a member of the CPF, community members are given a platform to discuss matters related to the crime in the area, and share ideas on how to make their suburb a safer place for them and their children.
Lieut Juanita Coetzer, communications officer for the Boksburg North SAPS, explains that as part of the CPF, community members can ensure police accountability, transparency and effectiveness in the community.
