Balls an’ All to offer free rabies vaccinations in Boksburg
Due to a current and continuing rabies outbreak in Gauteng, and the most recently confirmed case in Boksburg, Balls an' All (Community Pet Sterilization Service) will again be sponsoring free rabies vaccinations on August 7.

The NPO said it is extremely concerned by the recent outbreak of rabies in Boksburg and will be doing another free Anti-Rabies Drive, as many people missed out on the first one, which was on July 24.

“It is imperative that the public at large are made aware of the dangers of this outbreak, not only to their pets, but also to their families,” said the NPO in a statement.
Vaccinations will take place from 9.30am to 3pm at the “Family Pets” Shop, Elridge Corner Shopping Centre, at the intersection of Elizabeth and Ridge roads, in Bartlett.
Everyone is encouraged to bring along their animals to protect them from this deadly disease.

Those who have vaccination certificates for their pets are encouraged to bring them – those without will be provided with one.
The NGO pleads with those who can afford to make a donation to do so, in order for them to expand the drive and take it to other areas as well.
Donations are, however, purely voluntary and it is not a prerequisite to have your pet inoculated.
