Spreading some love at St Francis

Students from KLM Empowered spent a special at St Francis Care Centre, planting a tree, interacting with patients and handing out blankets, on Saturday, June 18.

Part of the students’ outcome of their learnership through a big logistics company based in Elandsfontein, is to get involved with the community.

The programme is called ‘Movement for Good’.

The students decided on supporting the St Francis Care Centre.

According to Strumpher Kluyts, from KLM Empowered, the students are very excited when it comes to their community project.

“They get all psyched up,” he said.

When done with the programme, the students will have to do a presentation on their community project.
