Serious accident in Witfield this morning, number of casualties
The Advertiser is aware of a serious accident that has occurred this morning (June 2) , in which we believe a number of people are seriously injured with the chance of at least four fatalities.
It is understood a car has apparently driven into a crowd of people on the corner of Mainreef and Field roads.
Emergency services are on the scene.

The accident has also caused huge traffic congestion in the part of the city (Angelo, Witfield).
