Boksburg North station commander Col Sam Makama requests that these guards register as informers, to assist in the battle against criime.
Boksburg North SAPS needs information regarding criminal activities taking place in the precinct.
“Crime is everybody’s business,” said Makama.
He stresses that an informer is not there to do the work of the SAPS, but to be the eyes and ears of the SAPS.
They are there to inform the SAPS and not to apprehend criminals.
Immediate incentives will be available for informers, for good work that results in good successes.
