Taking to the streets to provide Bibles to the needy
The Joshua Pentecostal Church of God, on Elizabeth Road, Impala Park, organised a charity walk to raise money to buy Bibles for those who cannot afford to buy them for themselves.
The 3km walk was held on Saturday morning, February 27, and was attended by more than 100 people, including children.
Carrying banners and flags, Christians marched from the church to El Ridge Corner shopping centre, before retracing their steps.
The church managed to raise R7 000 over the weekend.
