DA to host public meeting on jobs, EPWP initiatives in Reiger Park

On Saturday, Janaury 23, the DA will host a public meeting on jobs and the EPWP (Expanded Public Works Programme) initiative in Reiger Park.

According to Charlie Crawford, Councillor  Ward 34, currently 39 per cent of Ekurhuleni residents are unemployed.

“During the meeting I will engage with unemployed Reigerpark residents and convey the DA’s plan to create jobs,” said Crawford.

He will also demonstrate how the Ekurhuleni Metro can implement EPWP initiatives to benefit residents fairly and not just the connected few.

The meeting will start at 10am at the Reiger Park Community Hall.
