Security officers accused of theft
Members of one of South Africa’s well established security companies are being investigated by Boksburg detectives for theft, which occurred during the festive season.
The members under investigation are accused of stealing a motorcycle from a property on Sonskyn Road, Sunward Park, on January 4.
The investigation followed information suggesting that the members engaged in the theft of the motorcycle.
The Boksburg SAPS spokesperson, Lieut Kwendzakwakhe Ngobese, has confirmed that members of the company, ithe name of which is known to the Advertiser, are being investigated for the theft.
Ngobese could, however, not give details about the investigations, because these are ongoing.
“All I can say at the moment is that the investigations are at an advanced stage. We cannot give out detailed information now – we don’t want to jeopardise the ongoing investigation. We will wait for the results,” he said. – @FanieFLK
