Local SPCA assists in poor communities

The Boksburg SPCA outreach team goes out daily into the informal settlements and townships around Boksburg, mainly to collect unwanted or injured animals and educate pet owners how to look after their animals. Every week’s day the team spends a few hours in the different communities. The Advertiser had the opportunity of spending a few hours with the outreach team at the Vosloorus Police Station, on Wednesday, December 9.
