Two die in Rietfontein Road car crash
Two people died following a collision between two vehicles on Rietfontein Road, just outside the East Rand Mall, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found that a Golf and Audi were involved in a head on collision.
There were two men trapped in the Golf.
“Upon assessment by paramedics it was found that the men had succumbed to their injuries,” said Bodasing.
They had sustained multiple injuries.
The three occupants of the Audi were uninjured.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown and authorities were on scene for further investigations.
