Peaceful nights await New Beginnings residents
Vector Logistics, a division of RCL Foods, donated 227 mattresses and 270 blankets to New Beginnings Care Centre recently.
During the last week in October, the centre has been blessed with donations received from Spar (100 pallets of cold drinks) as well as a walk-in freezer.
Other regular sponsors are:
* Joubert Attorneys, who donate Kellogg’s and All Bran cereals.
* Danon Yogurt, who donate four tons of dairy products.
* Albany Bakery, who donate 2 000 breads.
* McCain Foods, who donate four tons of frozen foods.
New Beginnings does depend on donations from the public and corporate ventures.
