Dora is now mobile thanks to Rotary Club
A helping hand has been extended to Boksburg resident Dora Shelenbe (64), who had both her legs amputated above the knee at a relatively young age.
Her previous employer, Maureen Wienand, who has a strong connection with the Rotary Club of Boksburg Lake, requested that donate of a wheelchair to Dora.
The club made Dora’s wish come true when they delivered a brand new wheelchair to her.
Dora expressed her jubilation at receiving the chair by saying: “I thank everyone who made it possible for me to get this wheelchair; thanks to them I am now mobile.”
