“The complainant said that he heard a man swearing at his niece and nephew. He went outside to investigate and upon arrival he found the suspect yelling at the children for playing next to his yard,” said Const Nkemeleng Mabula from the Dawn Park SAPS.
“The suspect then continued to swear and ended up hitting the complainant with a heavy object leaving the complainant bleeding.
“We arrested the suspect and he has been charged with assault.”
