Help police solve Ramaphosa murder case

Reiger Park police are appealing for witnesses to come forward to help them solve the murder of a man whose body was found lying on the street in Ramaphosa Extension Five, on November 3, last year.

Patrolling officers found the body at about 11.35pm, on the corner of Fish Eagle and Idada streets.

The man had stab wounds to the neck and was identified as Mokhethi Molapo (26).

Anyone with information that may help police to find his killers is asked to contact the investigation officer, Det-W/O Annie du Preez on 011 916 7000.

The case number is CAS 83/11/2014.

* Police from the station have issued another appeal to Boksburg residents who could help them identify the body of a woman, who died after she was hit by a car in Ramaphosa, on Wednesday, August 12.

The woman, believed to be in her 40s, was rushed to Tambo Memorial Hospital after the crash, but she later succumbed to her head injuries.

Her body is still at the Germiston State Mortuary.

Anyone with information with regard to the accident or the identity of the woman is asked to phone the investigating officer, Det-W/O Ben Olifant, on 011 916 7000.

The case number is CAS 97/08/2015.
