Reiger Park police made the gruesome discovery on Monday, June 15.
According to Reiger Park SAPS spokesperson Mashudu Phathela, the men had sustained serious wounds all over their bodies.
“It seems as if they were victims of mob justice, because they appeared to have been beaten with solid objects and stoned, before they were dumped there,” said Phathela.
“Our detectives are, however, investigating the circumstances. Enquiries are ongoing.”
No arrests had been made at the time of publication, but police had opened two cases of murder.
The unidentified bodies were taken to the Germiston State Mortuary, and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
