Police raid shacks

In a bid to clamp down on criminal activities, Boksburg police raided the informal settlement located alongside the railway line, next to Boksburg East railway line station.

Armed officers stormed the small settlement on Friday morning, June 12.

They were looking for wanted suspects, illegal and stolen goods, and illicit drugs.

However, nothing illegal was found and no suspects were arrested during the blitz. -@FanieFLK
