ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said a child believed to be about seven-years-old was knocked over in Kirschner Road, in Anderbolt.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and assessed the distraught child.
“It was found that he sustained moderate injuries. He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care,” said Bodasing.
Bodasing said the exact cause of the incident is unknown, however, authorities were on scene for further investigations.
