The assault took place at a residence in Impala Park before midnight on May 29.
According to the Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Lieut Juanita Coetzer, the SAPS were called to a domestic violence incident.
“The arrested woman said she and her ex-husband had a fight, which resulted in the stabbing” said Coetzer.
