Woman ejected from car in North Rand Road accident
A woman was critically injured in a collision at the corner of North Rand and Elizabeth roads in Boksburg yesterday afternoon (April 19).
When ER24 and Life Healthcare paramedics as well as other services arrived on scene they found a woman lying close to a vehicle that had rolled.
“It is understood the woman, believed to be 21 years of age, was ejected from the vehicle,” said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing.
Bodasing said the woman was assessed and found to have sustained multiple injuries.
She was provided with advanced life support treatment and transported to hospital for further medical care.
“The exact cause of the incident is unknown,” said Bodasing.
