Truck without driver rolls through school’s wall
On Thursday (April 16), a truck driver watched in dismay as the truck he was driving, rolled back on its own and broke through the wall of Hoërskool Dr EG Jansen, on Rietfontein Road.
According to the driver, the traffic light was red so he decided to get out to answer his cellphone. While he was on the phone, he watched as the truck collided with the wall.
The relieved driver was glad no one was injured in the accident.
The owner of Rangson Governer Transport, Ricky Pillay, was shocked at the news but said that accidents do happen.
He has promised to get the wall fixed.-@NalediBoksburg
