The home has a number of activities lined up for the elderly, so they don’t sit idle the whole day,” said social worker Ronelle Ferreira.

“We have initiated activities to keep them active, including knitting and baking, and we want to introduce a recycling project, hence our appeal for old newspapers and magazines from the community.”
