Dawn Park benefits from a R126-million mall investment
The newly built Dawn Park Shopping Centre directly or indirectly employed 400 people during the construction phase and 150 permanent jobs were created.
The centre opened its doors on Thursday, March 25, at the corner of Galahad and Dagbreek roads.
According to the regional marketing manager of Eris Property Group, Kaylene Markley, the community of Dawn Park can now indulge in a variety of shopping choices closer to home.
“This development was a R126-million investment by MMI Holdings and Eris Property Group; the single level shopping centre offers 30 stores,” she said.
Shoppers were entertained throughout the opening weekend with live performances by local musicians, along with various other fun activities. – @NalediBoksburg
