According to the Boksburg North SAPS communication officer, Lieut Juanita Coetzer, the suspect was arrested at the Boksburg North Police Station, on March 27.
“The police members were processing the suspect, when a friend of the suspect arrived at the police station with the money, asking them to let the suspect go,” said Coetzer.
According to Coetzer, the members immediately arrested the second suspect for corruption.
