Suspects caught red-handed in Witfield

Two suspects were arrested for breaking into a business premises in Witfield, on February 15.

According to the Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson, Lieut Juanita Coetzer, the complainant – a security guard – was on duty, patrolling Witfield, when he received a call from one of his guards at the business premises.

“He responded to the premises where the guard informed him that he saw two men jumping the wall of the company,” said Coetzer.

“They went to inspect the premises and managed to arrest the two suspects.”

Entrance to the building was allegedly gained by breaking open the door and the burglar proofing.

They also found a screwdriver on the floor next to the door.
