Car burns down in highway collision

ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found one vehicle on its side and another alight.

ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said the driver of the vehicle sustained injuries when the vehicle rolled.

“The driver sustained moderate injuries and was treated and transported to the Life Glynnwood Hospital,” said Bodasing.

Four occupants of the vehicle that caught fire – a man, woman and two children – were uninjured.

Members of the Fire Department were on scene to extinguish the fire.

The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
